Intensive Course

This immersion program, now available online as well as in-person, is designed for advanced students and teachers of Persian dance who would like an in-depth study of Persian dance in the context of Persian culture and aesthetics. The training consists of a 20-25 hour intensive including technique, expression, Shahrzad Technique notation, and lectures on dance history, culture, and music. Upon completing the course, the student has the option of testing for a certificate. 

This 10-14-hour course provides training for dancers who have already been certificated in CFPD-Shahrzad Technique and are interested in teaching. Students receive step-by-step training on how to analyze movement patterns, create a syllabus, lesson plans, manage students in an ethical and encouraging way, and conduct classes in a positive and productive manner.
